Awesome 15 minute habit
We have all experienced procrastination at some stage of our life, where we postpone important tasks because they are too big, too intimidating or simply too uninteresting. And with this we experience that horrible and continuous niggling feeling that we should be doing something about it, but we don’t. The procrastination continuous until whoops, we didn’t achieve that goal in the end. Oh well… next time.
Sometimes goals or projects seem larger than life, but it only takes one little daily habit to move in the direction of achieving that goal – that is, create a 15 minute slot in your planner or gadget to chip away at parts of that goal or project. By appointing a mere 15 minutes, it doesn’t seem so intimidating, and chances are once you have started working on that project, the 15 minutes will roll into 1 hour. And before you know it, over a period of time, you are well and truly tracking towards achieving that goal simply by taking small manageable steps.
