Knowledge is a gift but...
As we study we are lucky enough to be exposed to knowledge and information from people around us who are guru at the subject. And people often assume that if someone is really good or nerdy at something, they're simply really knowledgable, talented and clever. Sure they might be, and that may be intimidating, but that's not entirely the case really.
Have you ever noticed that the more we practise something, the more it becomes a piece of cake. And once you have mastered that 'whatever it is', you sometimes think back and laugh, and wonder why you even thought it was difficult to start with.
This is basically the case with everything in life. Anything that is considered difficult, and only able to be achieved by the gurus, once practised and repeated like hell, becomes a super easy thing to you. So basically apply this mantra to anything in your studies. This works particularly well for subjects like Math, Chemistry and Physics. But it can most definitely be applied to languages and writing essays. It is possible to be a guru at languages and writing amazing essays by simply practising and learning more about how to do it well. Knowledge IS a gift, but practise is the key.
