Secret to getting ahead
The famous words from Mark Twain, "The secret to getting a head is getting started." This has so much value in it. Every large feat starts with a bunch of small tasks and milestones, and what seems large and daunting at first doesn't seem too intimidating once you get into the middle of it.
So here's how to make it...
Step 1: Break up the large daunting project (or whatever it is) into a bunch of small tasks. You can use one of the printables on the site for that.
Step 2: Budget 25 minute pomodoro work sessions to do your stuff. You can check out Pomodoro time management a few posts back, or just google it.
Step 3: When you achieve your small tasks, reward yourself along the way, no matter how small your milestone is. Like an ice-cream, coffee, walk or whatever break.
If you continue will these steps, you can only go forward. and will eventually succeed.
